In summer, Obergurgl invites you to enjoy active holidays with its healthy high mountain climate and clear mountain air. Hiking trails lead through the alpine flora and offer unforgettable views of the valley and the surrounding peaks. A highlight is the Timmelsjoch, the so-called ‘Gateway to the South’ - a winding high Alpine road that connects Tyrol with South Tyrol and is fascinating both historically and scenically.

The Gurgl ski area offers winter fun on 112 kilometres of pistes and is one of the most snow-sure areas in the Alps. State-of-the-art lifts take you up to 3,030 metres in comfort and without waiting times. In Gurgl there are both sporty descents and gentle slopes for connoisseurs - all set against a fantastic mountain backdrop.
