We, Rosi and Manfred Scheiber, have been running the Hotel Wiesental in Obergurgl with dedication and a clear commitment to quality for over 25 years. Opened in 1964 by Manfred's mother as a bed and breakfast, the Wiesental is now a 4-star hotel with a personal touch. We combine traditional hospitality with modern comfort. This makes the Hotel Wiesental a true feel-good place.

Ein Familienunternehmen

We are the second generation to run our family business with heart and soul. And the next generation is already knocking on the door, as our three children actively support us in our everyday hotel life. Our eldest daughter Sabrina works in the hotel as a sommelier and is happy to recommend the finest wines from our wine cellar.
 

Hospitality that comes from the heart

‘Our guests should feel completely at home with us’ - that is our credo. 
We always have an open ear for our guests and are happy to pass on the odd Gurgl insider tip. But those who prefer to keep to themselves are also in good hands with us. If you want privacy, you'll find it at our hotel.
 

Holidays in harmony with nature

The mountains are our home, nature is our home. That's why sustainability is a personal concern for us. We not only pay attention to regionality when it comes to food. Many natural products are also used in our rooms - such as wood or lime plaster. In the future, we plan to be certified with the ‘Austrian Ecolabel’.
